Hoogle Homes was founded by Ganesh and Anna Hoogler, who have been designing and building together for over thirteen years.

Ganesh has worked in the building trades for more than two decades, developing a deep understanding of carpentry, structural work, and the practical realities of construction. Anna, a life long artist, brings a strong eye for proportion and architectural detail, helping shape projects so that new work feels natural alongside the existing home.

Together we focus on thoughtful solutions that balance durability, craftsmanship, and careful design.

How we think about Homes

We approach homes as living systems - shaped by light, movement, weather, and time.

We look at how people actually use a space: how they move through it, where the sun falls throughout the day, how rooms connect, and how the house sits on the land. These patterns guide our decisions, whether we are repainting, renovating or building new.

We also think carefully about how buildings age. Water, sun, and seasonal changes constantly affect materials, and good construction means understanding those forces and working with them, not against them.

Our goal is to create spaces that feel natural to live in, hold up over time, and make sense in their environment.

How We Work

Over many years in the trades, Ganesh has seen how the structure of a work crew can affect both the quality and efficiency of a project. The best results come from combining experience with thoughtful organization on the job site.

For this reason we place a strong emphasis on careful planning, well-prepared workspaces, and efficient tools and setups. When the work environment is designed well, projects move more smoothly, details receive proper attention, and the finished result reflects the level of care that went into building it.

We also take care to keep job sites clean, organized, and safe - especially during interior work in lived-in homes. Through HEPA dust control, containment and deliberate sequencing, we aim to minimize disruption and maintain a comfortable, livable environment throughout the project.

We give careful thought to the materials we use - balancing durability, performance, and health considerations. Where possible, we choose lower-impact options, while also recognizing that in some cases long-term durability requires more robust materials. The goal is always to make practical, well-informed decisions based on how a space will be used and what it will be exposed to.
