Renovations
Although we love doing beautiful artistic projects, like most construction companies, our bread and butter has tended to be practical projects where form follow function.
Which is good, as sometimes the correct course of action is picking up a sledge hammer or crow bar and smashing your way down to bare studs for a fresh start. Other times you need to gain access to sill plates and framing to replace rotten members. It's not glamorous work, but it tends to go quickly and in the longer run generally tends to be cheaper than throwing endless bandaids on a problem.
Once the demolition is over, (personally one of my favorite stages) everything can start being put back together, but better. Renovations allow us to really unleash the Hoogle onto a structure, starting with the drywall, rounding inside as well as outside corners, and continuing with our level 3 with full-skim-coat minimal trowel-texture un-sanded drywall finish. Next we offer countless paint options, Latex, Milk, Clay, Linseed, Tung. Layers, textures, sprayed, brushed, rolled, sponged, rubbed, we've got your walls covered, literally.
And after the paint is dry, we wheel around the personal cut/work stations with cordless trim miter saws and mini table saws to get the place trimmed out with a minimum of walking to and from saws.
We have no problem doing a typical 1/4 inch reveal trim package, but specialize in a zero reveal, flush cased, round-over Nordic style.
